Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting Cumberland and Bladen Counties. Great Pee Dee River At Pee Dee affecting Marion and Florence Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Great Pee Dee River at Pee Dee. * WHEN...From Saturday morning until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Flood waters will affect swamplands and logging interests. Flood waters will affect timberland as far downstream as Yauhannah two weeks after the crest passes Pee Dee. Logging equipment needs to be moved. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 13.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage Saturday morning and continue rising to a crest of 21.4 feet Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

At 30.0 feet, The higher bank begins to flood. Large areas of farmland and river bottomland near Cheraw will be flooded. Portions of Riverside Park become flooded. At 33.0 feet, Southeast of Wallace, water spreads onto Old River Road between Community Road and Highway 912. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:15 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 21.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 32.1 feet tomorrow morning.
