Flood Warning issued April 22 at 10:44AM EDT until April 24 at 10:24AM EDT by NWS Jacksonville FL

...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Georgia... Alapaha River At Statenville affecting Echols County. Additional information is available at https://water.weather.gov/ahps2/forecasts.php?wfo=jax. The next statement will be issued Tuesday morning at 1045 AM EDT. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Alapaha River at Statenville. * WHEN...Until late Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 92.0 feet, Griner Road in Mayday begins to flood. This isolates 10 homes in the area. Flooding along the road subsides 2 to 3 days after the river crests in Statenville or when the river falls below 96 feet. At 100.0 feet, The boat ramp near the gauge and adjacent parking lot are flooded. At 103.0 feet, Homes along the river in Statenville and Griner Road become inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM EDT Monday the stage was 101.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Wednesday morning and continue falling to 92.5 feet Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 100.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
