* WHAT...A half foot to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline. * WHERE...In New Jersey, Hudson County. In New York, Richmond (Staten Island) and Kings (Brooklyn) Counties. * WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to midnight EDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in the more vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Some roads and low lying properties including parking lots, parks, lawns, and homes and businesses with basements near the waterfront will experience minor flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional minor coastal flooding is possible Friday night.

For the Coastal Flood Watch, one to two feet of inundation above ground level possible in low- lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways. * WHERE...In Delaware, Inland Sussex and Delaware Beaches. In New Jersey, Atlantic, Cape May, Atlantic Coastal Cape May and Coastal Atlantic. * WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, from 8 PM this evening to 2 AM EDT Friday. For the Coastal Flood Watch, from Friday evening through late Friday night. * IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs in coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal waterways. Many roads become impassable. Some damage to vulnerable structures may begin to occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Increasing onshore flow during the day on Friday combined with the higher astronomical tides will increase the potential for moderate coastal flooding with the Friday night high tide.
