At 236 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles southwest of Clarkston Heights-Vineland, or 11 miles southwest of Clarkston, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Lewiston, Clarkston, Clarkston Heights-Vineland, West Clarkston-Highland, Asotin, Clarkston Heights, Cloverland, and Jerry. This includes U.S. Highway 12 in Washington between mile markers 430 and 432.

* WHAT...Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive rainfall are possible over the Paradise and Hagen burn scar. * WHERE...Portions of northeast Oregon, including the following area, Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon and southeast Washington, including the following area, Northwest Blue Mountains. * WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall over the Paradise and Hagen burn scar 1 to 1.5 inches is expected during the period of the watch. Residents near the Paradise and Hagan burn scar should prepare for potential debris flow. Be sure to stay up to date with information from local authorities. Heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding of low-lying areas and debris flows in and near recent wildfire burn scars. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - National Weather Service Meteorologists are forecasting heavy rainfall over the burn scar, which may lead to flash flooding and debris flows. - Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
