Ohio River at Maysville. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Portsmouth. * WHEN...Until Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 53.0 feet, Backwater flooding on tributaries occurs, with low lying impacts and flooding of some county roads. Riverfront homes near Shannoah Lane near Ziegler Lane become surrounded by water with some homes flooded by several feet of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM EST Wednesday the stage was 53.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday morning and continue falling, remaining below flood stage. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

Ohio River at Maysville. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Meldahl Dam. * WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 53.0 feet, Water rises over Route 52 below the locks, and backwater flooding continues along several creeks and streams in Clermont and Brown counties in Ohio and Bracken and Pendleton Counties in Kentucky. Portions of Route 52 in Ohio and low areas between Route 8 and the river in Kentucky are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:30 AM EST Wednesday the stage was 52.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 52.6 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 51.0 feet.

Basedment flooding in East End occurs. Flooding occurs along sections of Route 52 in Hamilton and Clermont Counties. Low-lying roads in Bromley and Ludlow also flood, as well as stretches of Route 8 in Kentucky, and State Route 56 near Aurora, Indiana. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM EST Wednesday the stage was 55.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 55.3 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday morning. - Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
