Mohave Valley Warnings, Watches and Advisories

When a severe thunderstorm warning is issued, the storm may produce damaging winds, large hail, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain. In some cases, heavy rainfall produced by a severe storm can also lead to flash flooding. Do not drive vehicles through flooded areas. The water depth or fast flowing water/mud/debris from a flash flood will make road conditions unsafe. * WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona... * WHEN...Until 845 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 537 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.75 inches of rain have fallen just south of McNeal. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Big Bend Creek, Gadwell Canyon, Danger Wash, Whitewater Draw, Leslie Creek, San Pedro River, Silver Creek and Buck Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
