Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and isolated ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. * WHERE...Eastern Dutchess, Eastern Greene, and Western Columbia Counties. * WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to noon EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations of a few hundredths up to three tenths of an inch. * WHERE...Portions of northwestern Connecticut, western Massachusetts, eastern New York, and southern Vermont. * WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to noon EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The greatest accumulations of ice will fall at the higher terrain regions of the Southern Adirondacks, Eastern Catskills, Southern Greens, Taconics, and Berkshires. A cooler trend with this system has reduced ice accumulations within the Mohawk Valley, Capital District, and Upper Hudson Valley. In these areas, the potential for freezing rain still exists, but for a shorter duration of time. Sleet now looks to be the primary wintry precipitation type in these areas overnight. This will still make for slick conditions particularly for the early morning commute tomorrow morning.

Total ice accumulations around one tenth to one quarter of an inch with slightly higher amounts in the higher elevations of the Catskills. * WHERE...Delaware, Northern Oneida, Otsego, Southern Oneida, and Sullivan Counties. * WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Colder air will filter in this evening with rain changing to freezing rain. Precipitation will taper off Friday morning. The highest ice amounts will be across the Catskills in the eastern portions of Delaware and Sullivan counties.

Total ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch across the northern half of Jefferson County and across the higher terrain of Lewis county. * WHERE...Jefferson and Lewis Counties. The greatest ice accumulations are expected near the Saint Lawrence River and the Tug Hill. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Friday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the commute this evening and the Friday morning commute.
