A combination of strong northwest winds, a few gusts around 40 mph, as well as afternoon relative humidity around 20 percent, will lead to near critical fire weather conditions. While many fuels are seeing a quick green up, warm season tall grasses are still lagging and continue to be nearly fully cured. Fires will spread rapidly and show erratic behavior. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
