When a severe thunderstorm warning is issued, the storm may produce damaging winds, large hail, dangerous lightning, and heavy rain. In some cases, heavy rainfall produced by a severe storm can also lead to flash flooding. Do not drive vehicles through flooded areas. The water depth or fast flowing water/mud/debris from a flash flood will make road conditions unsafe. Flood Advisory issued September 10 at 8:39AM MST until September 10 at 2:30PM MST by NWS Tucson AZ

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona, specifically Hereford Road between milepost 8 and 9. * WHEN...Until 230 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water is spilling onto Hereford Rd near the one lane bridge that goes over the San Pedro River. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 834 AM MST, local law enforcement reported runoff from earlier heavy rain in the advisory area.
