For the Tombigbee River...including Coffeeville Dam, Leroy...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Tombigbee River near Leroy. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Monday evening. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands begins. Cattle in low lying areas should be moved to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 25.5 feet Saturday morning. Livestock should be moved to higher ground. Old Ferry Road near the river begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 30.8 feet tomorrow evening.
