Pockets of dense fog with visibility of 1/4 mile are occurring across the Rio Grande, Southern Edwards Plateau and east of Interstate 35. If traveling early this morning, be alert for rapidly changing visibility, slow down, and allow for extra travel time. If this trend continues and more reports with low visibilities come in, a Dense Fog Advisory will likely be issued. Visibility is forecast to improve between 9 and 10 am.
