Little Sioux River at Spencer affecting Clay County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Sioux River at Spencer. * WHEN...Until Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, the right bank overflows, and minor flooding of the Spencer city park and some rural agricultural areas begins. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 10.3 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 AM CDT Thursday was 10.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning and continue falling to around 9.3 feet Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
