Road Closed with Detour on SR-1464 Near Vanceboro

DETOUR: Craven county side of bridge - from bridge go 1.02 mile to stop sign at intersection of SR-1458 (Honolulu Rd.). Turn left and continue 1.81 miles down to stop sign at NC-118. Turn left and continue .12 miles and then turn left at SR-1465 (Beaver Dam Rd). Continue .49 miles to the Pitt county line where SR-1465 becomes SR-1931. Continue approx. .49 miles and turn left onto SR-1930 (Wall Rd). Continue .79 miles to the stop sign at the intersection of SR-1929 (Clark Ford Rd.). Turn left onto SR-1929 and continue .33 miles to the bridge.

Pitt county side of bridge - From bridge go .33 miles to SR-1930 (Wall Rd.). Turn right and continue .79 miles to the stop sign at the intersection of SR1931 (beaver Dam Rd). Turn right and continue .49 miles to Craven County line. SR-1931 turns into SR-1465. Continue .49 miles until the stop sign at NC-118.. Turn right on NC-118 and go .12 miles to SR-1458 (Honolulu Rd) and turn right. Continue 1.81 miles to SR-1464 (Pughtown Rd) and turn right. Continue 1.02 miles to the bridge.

Ramp Closed on NC-55 West of Bridgeton
Hurricane Florence caused storm surge that resulted in approach fill being removed from ramp.  The roadway has collopased at this location.
