At 115 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Lambert, or 16 miles west of Georgetown, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Lambert and Sampit.

At 110 AM EDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of Burtons Ferry Landing to near Shirley, and moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...strong winds 45 to 55 mph and up to penny sized hail. SOURCE...Radar Indicated. IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of light, unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to plants, trees and crops is possible. Damage to windshields is unlikely. Some locations in the path of these storms include... Allendale, Hampton, Lake Warren State Park, Estill, Fairfax, Brunson, Gifford, and Furman.
