...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Tennessee... Cumberland River At Clarksville affecting Montgomery County. For the Cumberland River...including Clarksville...elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Cumberland River at Clarksville. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 40.0 feet, Low lying areas along the river, including agricultural areas, access points, and portions of Riverfront Park on North Riverside Dr begin to be inundated. Water also backs up adjacent tributaries, including Bartons Creek, Red River, West Fork Red River, and Yellow Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 41.9 feet and cresting. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 29.7 feet Saturday evening. - Action stage is 40.0 feet. - Flood stage is 46.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

For the Red River...including Port Royal...Minor flooding is forecast. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Tuesday afternoon at 1245 PM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Red River at Port Royal. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, Flooding continues to affect agricultural land and adjacent areas along the river, including the Porter Chapel Public Access Area, and the Red River Valley Park where water approaches campsites and evacuations may be needed for higher levels. Water approaches Port Royal Rd near Hwy 238 which may be impassable at higher levels. At 36.0 feet, Flooding continues to affect agricultural land, parks, and access areas along the river, including the Red River Valley Park where water reaches campsites and evacuations may be needed, and Port Royal Rd near Hwy 238 which is covered with water. Water approaches Dunbar Cave Rd just west of Warfield Blvd and may be impassable at higher levels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 35.7 feet and falling. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 5:00 PM CDT Monday was 35.8 feet. - Forecast...The river crested at 35.8 feet this afternoon and will fall below flood stage by tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 30.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 37.2 feet on 02/15/1989. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Locations impacted near Dover inculde River Rd between Tom Earhart Rd and the Blue Creek Recreation Area boat ramp, Bellwood Branch Rd near Patricia Cir, Cub Creek Cove, and the Commissary Hollow access point.
