...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Oklahoma... Clear Boggy Creek near Caney affecting Atoka County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Clear Boggy Creek near Caney. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 31.0 feet, Creek levels rise to five feet higher than flood stage... spreading over a major portion of its bottomlands in western Atoka County... and the northeastern edge of Bryan County. Croplands and pastures are flooded... and machinery and other property are cut off from access. Many rural roads are impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 30.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet. - Forecast...The Clear Boggy Creek is currently cresting and is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Inflows from local streams could cause higher stages in their common flood plain. At 301 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Arapaho, moving northeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Clinton, Thomas, Arapaho, and Custer City.

Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 19.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to continue slowly rising today and Wednesday to a crest of 20.0 feet by early Thursday afternoon. Potential exists for training of storms along and near the OK/KS border through the overnight hours over already saturated areas.
