Special Weather Statement
Special Weather Statement issued January 15 at 7:50PM EST by NWS Buffalo NY
A band of moderately heavy snow over southern Oswego county at 8 PM will slowly push north during the course of this evening. The band is forecast to be focused on the northern half of the county by 10 PM...then will focus on the Tug Hill plateau between midnight and 3 AM. This band will include snowfall rates of an inch per hour with some areas receiving up to 4 inches of fresh accumulation. The snow should be very light and fluffy...and with light winds... should only result in minimal impacts.
