Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Appomattox River above Farmville. * WHEN...From this afternoon to late this evening. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Water approaches back of homes on Old Plank Rd, upstream of gage. The Riverside Lot at Elm Street and North Main Street begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:20 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 15.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 16.2 feet this afternoon.
