* WINDS...Southwest winds shifting to the northwest at 15 to 25 with gusts up to 35 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that ignite will spread rapidly. Use caution if engaging in activities that may result in a fire starting.

The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM CDT Saturday. * AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 008, 009, 010, 020, 021, and 034. * WIND...Southwest at 20 to 25MPH with gusts of 30 to 35MPH * HUMIDITY...17 to 20 percent * IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
