Baraboo River Near Baraboo affecting Sauk and Columbia Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Baraboo River near Baraboo. * WHEN...From late tonight to early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, The effects of flooding at this level are confined mainly to agricultural land. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 15.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 16.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.9 feet on 04/12/2008. -

Yellow River at Necedah affecting Juneau County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Yellow River at Necedah. * WHEN...Until Tuesday afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM CDT Sunday was 16.2 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 16.1 feet around midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage Tuesday morning to 14.8 feet. It is possible that the river rises above flood stage again briefly Wednesday evening into Thursday. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.3 feet on 05/03/2014. -

Special Weather Statement

Special Weather Statement issued May 26 at 8:59PM CDT by NWS Green Bay WI

A large areas of showers and embedded thunderstorms continues to move across the Fox Valley and Green Bay, east to the lakeshore this evening. Rainfall rates in the heavier showers and storms will be around an inch per hour, resulting in urban street flooding and ponding of water on highways. The heavy rain may also lead to poor visibilities for motorists. The heavier rainfall should diminish from west to east by midnight, although showers are expected to continue into early Monday morning across northeast Wisconsin. If you are planning to travel this evening, slow down to avoid hydroplaning and avoid flooded roadways.

This includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad River Reservation, the Red Cliff Band, the Fond du Lac Band, the Bois Forte Band, Lake Vermilion area and the Mille Lacs Band, Hinckley, Lena Lake, Big Sandy Lake and, East Lake areas. Recreation spots such as Madeline Island and the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.
