CEMLBF THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE Cherry County, Nebraska Emergency Management. A wildfire south of Kilgore is moving to the north. Those south of the community of Kilgore between South Kilgore Road and Anderson Bridge Road should be prepared to evacuate if requested by local authorities. Weather conditions later this morning will promote large range fire spread and make control efforts difficult.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is ongoing. * WHERE...A portion of panhandle Nebraska, including the following counties, Box Butte, Morrill and Scotts Bluff. * WHEN...Until noon MDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 457 AM MDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... * AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 204: the eastern Panhandle/Crescent Lake NWR and western Sandhills. * TIMING...Noon MDT through 9 PM MDT. * WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...humidity as low as around 15%, especially across the eastern Panhandle. * TEMPERATURES...Highs in the lower to mid 90s. * LIGHTNING...Dry lightning strikes possible. * IMPACTS...Any fire starts may rapidly grow and spread. Fires will be difficult to control.

Overnight recoveries as low as 35 percent. * IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Dry lightning will be possible on Tuesday with isolated storms during the afternoon and evening hours.
