The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow expected between this afternoon and evening.

Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 7 inches. * WHERE...Cortland, Onondaga, Southern Cayuga, and Tompkins Counties. * WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow expected between this afternoon and evening. Lake effect snow showers developing off of the Finger Lakes this evening could last through late Thursday morning, and may result in locally higher snowfall totals.

Additional snow accumulations up to two inches. * WHERE...Herkimer, Hamilton, and northern Fulton counties in eastern New York and Bennington and western Windham counties in southern Vermont. * WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow showers continue to impact the southern Adirondacks and portions of the Mohawk Valley through this evening bringing additional light snowfall amounts. Upslope snow showers re-develop this afternoon into this evening for the southern Greens bringing additional light snowfall amounts.
