Southeastern Marshall County in northwestern Mississippi... * Until 200 AM CDT. * At 123 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Harmontown, or 7 miles northwest of Holly Springs National Forest, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include... Oxford, Bethlehem, Cambridge, Harmontown, Potts Camp, Abbeville, Malone, Keel, Blackwater, Teckville, Burt, College Hill Station, College Hill, Spraggins, and Cornersville.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi, including the following county, DeSoto and West Tennessee, including the following county, Shelby. * WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1150 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area.
