At 735 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Smithdale to Merrydale. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Baton Rouge, Zachary, Baker, Mccomb, Denham Springs, Clinton, Liberty, Greensburg, Amite, Walker, Amite City, Magnolia, Kentwood, Livingston, Summit, Roseland, Osyka, Montpelier, Smithdale, and Watson. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 12 between mile markers 17 and 30. Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 42 and 66. Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 1 and 24. Interstate 110 in Louisiana between mile markers 5 and 7.
