Southwestern Morgan County in southeastern Ohio... East Central Vinton County in southeastern Ohio... West Central Washington County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 430 PM EDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1005 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... * WHAT...High risk of rip currents. * WHERE...In Ohio, Lucas, Ottawa, Erie, Lorain, Cuyahoga, Lake and Ashtabula Lakeshore Counties. In Pennsylvania, Northern Erie County. * WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Wind and wave action will cause currents on the lakeshore. Swimmers should not enter the water. Currents can carry swimmers away from shore through a sand bar and along structures extending out into the lake.

Vinton County in southeastern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 938 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The following county, in southwest Ohio, Brown. * WHEN...Until 1145 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 931 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in High water continues in the Fayetteville Area along U.S. 50 as well as along U.S. 50 in Clermont County. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Mount Orab, Fayetteville, St. Martin, Greenbush, Chasetown, State Route 32 at US Route 68, Lake Lorelei and Locust Ridge.

Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Hillsboro, Waverly, Piketon, Lynchburg, Marshall, Sardinia, Bainbridge, Cynthiana, Kincaid Springs, Pike Lake, Highland Holiday, Rocky Fork Point, Belfast, Russell, New Market, Mowrystown, Sinking Spring, Paint Creek State Park, Rainsboro and Rocky Fork Lake.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
