At 654 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Newburgh, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Boonville and Newburgh.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 1 at 6:50PM CDT until May 1 at 7:15PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY

At 650 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Eureka, or 8 miles south of Boonville, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Eureka.
