At 654 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Newburgh, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Boonville and Newburgh.

Wabash River at Montezuma. .Recent rainfall has led to flooding along a few points of the Wabash River. This threat will continue through the week into the weekend. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Terre Haute. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, Flood waters begin to enter the two breaks in the Honey Creek Levee maintained by the Honey Creek Levee Association. These two breaks occurred during the April 2013 flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:30 AM EDT Wednesday /9:30 AM CDT Wednesday/ the stage was 16.6 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM EDT Wednesday /9:30 AM CDT Wednesday/ was 16.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.6 feet this afternoon. A few rural roads in Crawford County, Illinois close as water backs up Minnow Slough. High water affects campground at Leaverton Park in Palestine. A few private roads near the Gill Township levee in Sullivan County may flood.
