Dense Fog Advisory issued January 15 at 4:16PM PST until January 16 at 8:00AM PST by NWS Spokane WA

* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog. * WHERE...Quincy, Harrington, Grand Coulee, Ritzville, Ephrata, Moses Lake, Creston, Wilbur, Othello, Odessa, and Coulee City. * WHEN...Until 8 AM PST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Low visibility will make driving conditions hazardous. Freezing temperatures could lead to slick conditions on untreated roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Spotters have reported visibility as low as 1/8 mile near Moses Lake and Warden.

Patchy dense freezing fog will continue into early evening hours across the Blue Mountain Foothills. Visibilities of less than 1/2 mile are possible in spots, especially along Highway 11 near Weston, Interstate 84 near Pendleton and in portions of Walla Walla. Drivers should expect sudden reductions in visibility. Slow down and allow for extra space between yourself and other vehicles if you encounter dense fog.
