* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following county, Bourbon and west central Missouri, including the following county, Vernon. * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... West Fork Pryor Creek at Blair Road. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... SOURCE...Public reported. Received reports from the Galloway area in Springfield regarding flooding on the roads. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Springfield, Republic, Battlefield, Strafford, Willard, Ash Grove, Fair Grove, Walnut Grove, Brookline, Glidewell, Ebenezer, Cave Springs, Sacville, Galloway, Bois D'arc, Turners and Bassville.
