Patchy fog, locally dense, has already developed across parts of the northern and western Piedmont this evening. If it becomes more widespread overnight, a Dense Fog Advisory may be needed. If driving through dense fog, make sure to slow down and use low-beam headlights.

Flood Warning issued May 5 at 10:49PM EDT until May 6 at 2:00AM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central North Carolina, including the following county, Johnston. * WHEN...Until 200 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1047 PM EDT, Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
