At 929 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4 miles southeast of Caney, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Atoka, Tushka, Caney, Lane, and Bentley.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Oklahoma, including the following counties, Cleveland and McClain. * WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 838 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Clear Boggy Creek near Caney affecting Atoka County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Clear Boggy Creek near Caney. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Creek levels rise to four feet higher than flood stage... spreading over many acres of bottomlands in western Atoka County... and the northeastern edge of Bryan County. Croplands... pastures... and some secondary rural roads are flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 30.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 26.0 feet. - Forecast...The Clear Boggy Creek is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning and continue falling. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 19.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to continue a slow rise to a crest of 19.8 feet tomorrow morning.
