...The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill MO has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas... Marais Des Cygnes River at La Cygne affecting Linn County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River at La Cygne. * WHEN...Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 25.0 feet, Low lying farmland and other rural land floods. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 27.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Marais Des Cygnes River near Trading Post affecting Linn and Bates Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Marais Des Cygnes River near Trading Post. * WHEN...Until early Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Flooding of low-lying farmland occurs and water begins to approach Stateline Road north of the river gauge. At 29.0 feet, Stateline Road is flooded north of the river gauge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:46 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 32.2 feet early Saturday morning. Neosho River at Oswego affecting Cherokee and Labette Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River at Oswego. * WHEN...Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS...At 22.5 feet, Riverside Park Drive floods from east of Xavier St, just south of the river gage bridge, to 100 yards east towards the water plant. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 6.9 feet Tuesday evening. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...Portions of east central Kansas, including the following county, Linn and west central Missouri, including the following counties, Bates and Cass. * WHEN...Until 715 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 712 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
