Wood River At Hope Valley affecting Washington County. Pawcatuck River At Westerly affecting Washington and New London Counties. Pawcatuck River At Wood River Junction affecting Washington County. Taunton River Near Bridgewater affecting Plymouth and Bristol Counties. For the Pawtuxet River...including Scituate Reservoir, Cranston... Minor flooding is forecast. For the Pawcatuck River...including Wood River Junction, Westerly... Minor flooding is forecast. For the Taunton River...including Bridgewater...Minor flooding is forecast. For the Wood River...including Hope Valley...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Pawcatuck River at Westerly. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Floodwaters approach lowest lying homes along Hiscox Road in Westerly. Along Route 3, flooding occurs at some homes in French Village in Hopkinton. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 7.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 4:00 AM EDT Friday was 7.1 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 7.6 feet this afternoon. It will then fall this evening. It will rise to 7.7 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall late Sunday evening. It will rise to 7.4 feet early Monday morning. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, including the following area, Windham County. In Massachusetts, including the following areas, Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Essex, Middlesex, Nantucket, Norfolk, Plymouth, Suffolk and Worcester Counties. And in Rhode Island, including the following areas, Bristol, Kent, Newport, Providence RI and Washington Counties. * WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall totals between 1 and 2.5 inches will be common across the region.
