* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Pushmataha and Sequoyah. * WHEN...From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop to the west of the area this afternoon and increase in coverage and intensity as these storms move into eastern Oklahoma this evening and into northwest and west central Arkansas tonight. Expect rainfall totals from 2 to 4 inches to be common, with localized amounts up to 6 inches. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

For the Bayou Dorcheat...including Springhill, Dixie Inn, Lake Bistineau...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Bayou Dorcheat near Springhill. * WHEN...Until early Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Expect minor lowland flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 11.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:00 AM CDT Saturday was 12.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning and continue falling to 9.4 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.8 feet on 03/27/2017. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
