* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Cherokee and Crawford and southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Barton and Jasper. * WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 949 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Columbus, Cherokee, Weir, Scammon, Mccune, West Mineral, Sherman, Roseland, Carona, Skidmore, Stippville, Crestline, Lawton and Opolis. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
