At 319 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 7 miles north of Gate City, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Gate City, Surgoinsville, Weber City, Colonial Heights, Walnut Hill, Church Hill, Mount Carmel, and Nickelsville.

At 254 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Ashcamp, or near John Flannagan Lake, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Clintwood, John Flannagan Lake, and Clinchco.
