* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by moderate to heavy rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following
counties, Clark, Crawford, Floyd, Harrison, Perry and Washington
and central Kentucky, including the following counties,
Breckinridge, Bullitt, Hancock, Jefferson, Meade, Ohio, Oldham and
Shelby.
* WHEN...Until 245 PM EST /145 PM CST/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 848 AM EST /748 AM CST/, Doppler radar indicated moderate
to heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.25 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St.
Matthews, Shively, Lyndon, La Grange, Tell City and
Middletown.
