If traveling this morning, be aware that localized dense fog will be around through about 8 am. It is mainly in central and west- central Wisconsin, north of Interstate 90, and in some of the river valleys. The fog could suddenly reduce visibilities to 1/4 mile or less. Expect the fog to dissipate by 8 am. Slow down and have your headlights on if you encounter the fog.

Patchy dense fog, with visibilities of 1/4 mile or less, will impact the morning commute in central and parts of north central Wisconsin. The fog is expected to continue through 8 am or 9 am before mixing out. Morning commuters in central and parts of north central Wisconsin can expect poor and rapidly changing visibilities at times. When driving in fog, slow down, turn on your low-beam headlights and keep a safe distance from other vehicles.
