Flood Advisory issued May 5 at 11:50PM CDT until May 6 at 3:00AM CDT by NWS Memphis TN

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi, including the following county, DeSoto and West Tennessee, including the following county, Shelby. * WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1150 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bartlett, Southaven, Germantown, Olive Branch, Horn Lake, T O Fuller State Park, Memphis, Whitehaven, Southwest Memphis, Midtown Memphis, Downtown Memphis, Southeast Memphis, Lynchburg, Plum Point, Parkway Village, Capleville, White Station, Jago, Alden and Twin Lakes. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
