...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Kansas...Missouri... Little Osage River at Fulton affecting Bourbon County. Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County. For the Little Osage River...including Fulton, Horton...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Little Osage River near Horton. * WHEN...From Friday morning to early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 45.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs at the gage site. Low lying areas along Route D near Stotesbury flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 39.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 44.0 feet Saturday evening. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Spring River at Carthage. * WHEN...From this evening to Saturday morning. * IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, minor flooding occurs at the gage site. Flood waters impact State Highway 37 east of Carthage between Avilla and Reeds. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.0 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 11.2 feet just after midnight tonight.
