Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Commerce. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs. Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be closed. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 19.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to continue a slow rise to a crest of 19.8 feet tomorrow morning. Croplands and pastures are flooded... and machinery and other property are cut off from access.
