For the Angelina River...including Alto, Lufkin...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Angelina River near Lufkin. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 161.0 feet, Expect minor flooding with the gravel parking lot flooded and water beginning to overflow the gravel road where it widens into the parking lot. Also expect about a foot of overflow across the left bank of the Angelina River looking downstream. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 161.1 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 161.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood stage at 161.1 feet. - Flood stage is 161.0 feet. - Flood History...No available flood history. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

For the Rio Grande...including Laredo...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rio Grande at Laredo. * WHEN...From Wednesday morning to early Thursday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 2.1 feet (0.6 meters). - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet (2.1 meters). - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 8.1 feet (2.5 meters) tomorrow morning. Nueces River Below Uvalde affecting Uvalde County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...Nueces River below Uvalde. * WHEN...Until tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding nine miles southwest of Uvalde closes the Farm to Market 481 bridge floor. Livestock in the flood plain should be moved to higher ground. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 11.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 PM CDT Tuesday was 11.6 feet. - Forecast...The river will fall below flood stage this evening to 9.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then rise to 10.2 feet late tonight.
