Flood Advisory issued April 25 at 5:00PM CDT until April 25 at 11:00PM CDT by NWS Springfield MO

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of southeast Kansas, including the following county, Bourbon and west central Missouri, including the following county, Vernon. * WHEN...Until 1100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... West Fork Pryor Creek at Blair Road. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Nevada, Fort Scott, Bronson, Uniontown, Walker, Schell City, Fulton, Redfield, Richards, Mapleton, Deerfield, Metz, Harwood, Stotesbury, Hammond, Horton, Devon, Harding and Xenia. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

In Missouri, Clinton, Platte and Clay Counties. * WHEN...Until 6 PM CDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

Flash Flood Warning issued April 25 at 3:24PM CDT until April 25 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Springfield MO

At 324 PM CDT, The public reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Public reported. Received reports from the Galloway area in Springfield regarding flooding on the roads. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Springfield, Republic, Battlefield, Strafford, Willard, Ash Grove, Fair Grove, Walnut Grove, Brookline, Glidewell, Ebenezer, Cave Springs, Sacville, Galloway, Bois D'arc, Turners and Bassville. This includes the following low water crossings... Wilson Creek at Farm Road 156, Sims Branch at Highway CC, Wilson's Creek at Farm Road 150, Clear Creek at Farm Road 87, Sac River at County Road 1247, Little Pomme De Terre River at Highway CC and Wilson Creek at Farm Road 146.
