At 526 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Curtis, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Frontier County. This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 41 and 45.

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has weakened. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

At 420 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles north of Van Tassell, or 21 miles east of Lusk, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Sioux and east central Niobrara Counties.

At 355 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles east of Lusk, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Sioux, southeastern Niobrara and northern Goshen Counties.
