* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Illinois, including the following areas, Bureau, Carroll, Henderson, Henry IL, Mercer, Putnam, Rock Island, Warren and Whiteside, Iowa, including the following areas, Benton, Cedar, Clinton, Des Moines, Henry IA, Iowa, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Lee, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine, Scott, Van Buren and Washington, and northeast Missouri, including the following areas, Clark and Scotland. * WHEN...From 10 PM CDT this evening through 10 AM Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A saturated atmosphere will result in rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour at times are expected. Localized rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches are possible (10-20% chance) in the Interstate 80 and Highway 30 corridors.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Knox, Marshall and Stark Counties. * WHEN...From 10 PM CDT this evening through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rain of 1 to 4 inches fell over portions of this area Tuesday night. While the heaviest rain tonight is more favored to fall near the I-80 corridor, an additional 1 to 3 inches may occur over Knox, Stark and Marshall Counties. This may lead to localized flooding, especially if it falls over the same areas as Tuesday night.

* WHAT...Afternoon heat index values up to 105 expected. * WHERE...Clay, Crawford, Effingham, Jasper, Lawrence, and Richland Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Not much relief is expected tonight, as the heat index only falls into the mid to upper 70s.

In Missouri, Boone MO, Callaway MO, Lincoln MO, and Montgomery MO Counties. * WHEN...Until 8 PM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 107. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Illinois and central, east central, and southeast Missouri. * WHEN...Until 8 PM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses.

Heat Advisory issued September 16 at 11:24AM CDT until September 20 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY

* WHAT...Daily peak heat index values of 100 to 106. * WHERE...All of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. * WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT /8 PM EDT/ Sunday. * IMPACTS...Record to near record hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The Heat Advisory has been extended thru Sunday for the entire Quad State Region. Although heat index values will only be near 100, the prolonged period of late season hot temperatures and high humidity will continue to elevate heat-related health impacts.
