Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 6 at 1:56AM CDT until May 6 at 2:30AM CDT by NWS Memphis TN

At 155 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of Bethlehem, or 12 miles northwest of New Albany, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... New Albany, Ripley, Blue Mountain, Keownville, Hickory Flat, Potts Camp, Myrtle, Dumas, Cotton Plant, Murry, Winborn, Concord, Old Myrtle, Pumpkin Center, Molino, Clarysville, Pine Grove, Peoples, Locum, and Bethel.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi, including the following county, DeSoto and West Tennessee, including the following county, Shelby. * WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1150 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
