At 620 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Luner to near Bent to Elihu to Kidder to 6 miles north of Albany. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Somerset, London, Monticello, Manchester, Burnside, Fariston, Cumberland Falls S.P., Fogertown, Mount Victory, Bush, Mershons, Hazel Patch, Herron, Hooker, Bark Camp, Camp Wildcat, Byron, Honeybee, Sacker Gap, and Alpine. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 1 and 21. Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 19 and 57. The following counties in Ohio, Brown, Clermont, Hamilton and Highland. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 404 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... These storms will also have a tendency to repeat their heavy rains over the same areas. Rainfall totals may approach 3 inches in total and could be locally higher in some locations.
