At 620 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Luner to near Bent to Elihu to Kidder to 6 miles north of Albany. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Somerset, London, Monticello, Manchester, Burnside, Fariston, Cumberland Falls S.P., Fogertown, Mount Victory, Bush, Mershons, Hazel Patch, Herron, Hooker, Bark Camp, Camp Wildcat, Byron, Honeybee, Sacker Gap, and Alpine. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS... Hal Rogers Parkway between mile markers 1 and 21. Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 19 and 57. Kentucky Highway 80 in Laurel County between mile markers 1 and 11. Kentucky Highway 80 in Pulaski County between mile markers 17 and 40. Louis B. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The following counties in southeast Indiana, Dearborn, Ohio and Ripley. The following counties in northern Kentucky, Boone, Campbell and Kenton. The following counties in Ohio, Brown, Clermont, Hamilton and Highland. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 404 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Cincinnati, Covington, Florence, Independence, Norwood, Erlanger, Fort Thomas, Newport, Loveland, Madeira, Edgewood, Alexandria, Elsmere, Cheviot, Fort Mitchell, Villa Hills, Highland Heights, Milford, Taylor Mill and Bellevue.

Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...All of western Kentucky. * WHEN...Through Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Several rounds of showers and thunderstorms will produce heavy rainfall capable of flooding commonly flood prone areas. These storms will also have a tendency to repeat their heavy rains over the same areas. Rainfall totals may approach 3 inches in total and could be locally higher in some locations.
