At 505 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from near Custer to 8 miles northeast of Crow Agency to 15 miles northwest of Lodge Grass. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hardin, Hysham, Custer, Crow Agency, Busby, St. Xavier, Bighorn, Crow Indian Reservation, and Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation. This advisory does not include the city of Billings.

Scattered snow showers will move through Southwest MT late this afternoon. Some of the heavier snow showers will reduce visibility below a half mile. Snow accumulations will primarily be on bridges and grassy surfaces at lower elevations, with an inch or so possible on mountain passes, such as Elk Park Pass on Interstate 15 and Homestake Pass on Interstate 90. If driving through this area late this afternoon, be alert for quickly changing road conditions, along with areas of reduced visibility.

Winds gusting as high as 35 mph over mountain ridges. * WHERE...Gallatin and Madison County Mountains and Centennial Mountains. * WHEN...Until 9 PM MDT this evening. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult, especially over Raynolds and Targhee passes. Patchy blowing snow could reduce visibility.
