The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

* WHAT...Large stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following counties, Gallia and Lawrence. * WHEN...Until 900 AM EST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of Symmes Creek and Raccoon Creek and their tributaries is occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 850 PM EST, Flooding continues on lower portions of Symmes Creek and Raccoon Creek and their tributaries. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... For the Ohio River...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Greenup Lock. * WHEN...Until tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 54.0 feet, This will cause minor flooding of mainly low-lying areas. Backwater flooding starts on both sides of the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:45 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 55.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:45 PM EST Tuesday was 55.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is falling and will fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning. - Flood stage is 54.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 55.3 feet on 01/22/1996. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Ohio River at Portsmouth. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Portsmouth. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 53.0 feet, Backwater flooding on tributaries occurs, with low lying impacts and flooding of some county roads. Riverfront homes near Shannoah Lane near Ziegler Lane become surrounded by water with some homes flooded by several feet of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 53.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Wednesday evening and continue falling, remaining below flood stage. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

Ohio River at Portsmouth. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Meldahl Dam. * WHEN...Until late Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 52.0 feet, Lowland flooding of streets near Neville continues. Water covers Route 52 near State Route 232 in Point Pleasant, with backwater flooding up Big Indian Creek resulting in high water along stretches of Route 232 close to the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 51.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 52.1 feet Wednesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 51.0 feet.

It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon. - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

Ohio River at Portsmouth. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ohio River at Cincinnati. * WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 55.0 feet, Low-lying roads near the river continue to flood, with much of Anderson Township, the East End and California affected along Kellogg Avenue, with stretches of Kellogg Avenue closed. Much of Riverfront Live in East End is flooded. Backwater flooding affects many locations near the Ohio River. Flooding affects sections of Route 52 in southeast Hamilton and Clermont Counties. Backwater up Twelvemile Creek begins to flood low areas of northwest New Richmond. Low-lying roads in Bromley and Ludlow also flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 54.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 55.2 feet Wednesday evening. It will then fall below flood stage Friday morning. - Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
