At 715 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near New Market to near Fort Payne. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Scottsboro, Fort Payne, Winchester, Rainsville, Bridgeport, Decherd, Henagar, Stevenson, Sylvania, and Cowan.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following county, Fentress. * WHEN...Until 745 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 543 PM CDT, an observer reported 1.48 inches of heavy rain due to a slow-moving thunderstorm. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
