Withlacoochee River near Quitman (US 84) affecting Brooks and Lowndes Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Withlacoochee River near Quitman (US 84). * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 106.0 feet, In Lowndes County, the boat ramp at the Clyattville Nankin road is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 105.2 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:00 PM EDT Saturday was 105.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 107.2 feet early Wednesday afternoon. - Flood stage is 104.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 107.3 feet on 01/27/2010. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
